Bhalla's Ballsy Move Backfires

Nível 19 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

On a completed board of {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, Eshaan Bhalla checked and Eyal Eshkar in the hijack made it 236,000 to go. Bhalla then jammed for another 501,000 on top and that sent Eshkar deep into the tank. The camera crew rushed by to film the potential all-in showdown and Eshkar eventually tossed in a single chip for the call.

Bhalla rolled over the {k-Spades}{7-Spades} for counterfeited two pair, which were beaten by the {j-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a jack-high straight by Eshkar.

"I had to do it. I have many sevens, king-eight or kings in my range there," Bhalla mentioned in table chat while he waited for the payout runner to arrive with the ticket. Eshkar leaped above two million in chips and admitted that he had been very close to folding.

It was folded back over to Zolowtow, who went all in after some contemplation. Akkari folded and Sewnig followed suit.

"You're not taking any sh**, are you?" tablemate Alex Goulder said.

"I just get good hands and I raise them," Zolowtow replied as he collected the pot.
