Kelly Minkin opened in middle position to 3,000 and called a three-bet to 9,100 from Marco Zevola in the big blind.
Zevola led out flop, betting 5,000 which Minkin called. Zevola fired again on the turn for 11,000 and Minkin took some time before sliding her hand into the muck.
Dean Murphy called a bet worth 2,500 by Dennis Beres on the turn and the river was checked down by both players. Beres tabled the but Murphy had that beat with the for a flush with the deuce.
"How did you know?" another player at the tables asked and Murphy replied "I saw Doyle play it."
On the turn of , Arnaud Enselme fired in a bet of 23,000 into the pot of just over 16,000. Dragana Lim was next to act and shipped her stack of 61,800 into the middle. Eprem Fodolyan called off his stack of 53,300 before Enselme tank-called.

All three players smashed the flop but Lim was in great shape with her set of jacks. The river changed nothing for her set to hold and eliminate Fodolyan and leaving Enselme with only 6,200.
Lynne Ji opened from middle position to 900. She got a few callers but when the action got to the player in the big blind he raised to 5,500. Ji called and the other players folded.
The flop came . Ji's opponent continued for 11,000 and she called.
Her opponent jammed the turn having her covered.
Ji sat back in her chair, looked at her cards, and said, "Because I like you guys so much I am gonna take an extra 30 seconds before I call...I don't think I am ever folding this."
After glancing back at her cards several times another lady at her tabled asked her, "did they change?"
Ji laughed and responded, "No they didn't change...I guess it's better to bust on Day 1 than on Day 2."
She made the call putting her tournament life on the line. Her opponent said what every poker player loves to hear, "Good call."
