Fisk Finds a King on the River

The action was picked up on a flop with four-way action which read {7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Michael Fisk checked to the player in middle position who bet 1,200, there was one call but then the player on the button raised it up to 11,000.

Fisk then moved all in for 32,500. The player next to act in middle position shoved over the top. The other two opponents folded.

Fisk's opponent was way ahead on the flop spiking a set of threes. The board ran out with the {4-Diamonds} on the turn and the {k-Diamonds} on the river,

Fisk rivered a set of kings to double through his opponent. The player that was on the button said, "Good thing for you that I didn't call... I had diamonds."

When PokerNews asked Fisk for his name in order to reference the hand he said, "Michael 'Suck Out' Fisk."

Brown Finishes Off Beres

The board read {10-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, Dennis Beres called the all-in from D'Antonio Brown and tabled the {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}.

He was behind the {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} of Brown.

The river did not hit Beres as the {a-Clubs} came off and he was eliminated.

Ivey Gets Aces Cracked

All the chips went in the middle on the turn with the board reading {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{a-Hearts} with James Ivey shoving all-in and Edo Zucker snap-calling off his stack of 45,800.

James Ivey: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

Ivey had turned top set but Zucker flopped a straight and turned a flush draw. Zucker was able to dodge the paired board when the {10-Diamonds} landed on the river to double up.

Baba Busts to Pedigo

Ryan Pedigo was down to a short stack not long go but managed to reach a six-figure stack. The latest two hands went both to Pedigo as he first took some change off Chris Sandrock and then knocked out Shintaro Baba.

Sandrock raised to 1,200 and then called the three-bet to 3,700 by Pedigo. They headed to the {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop on which Sandrock check-folded to a continuation bet worth 4,000 as he was show pocket queens.

One hand later, Pedigo limped and Baba jammed for the last 1,500. He was called three ways including Amnon Filippi and Pedigo. They checked the {5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop and Pedigo bet the {5-Hearts} turn for 2,500 to isolate.

The {4-Spades} river gave Pedigo the six-high straight and ended Baba's run in the 2021 WSOP Main Event.

Flopped Set for Olonoh

With about 22,000 in the pot and a completed board of {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{a-Hearts}, Adekunle Olonoh bet 16,000 from early position. The small blind player thought about it and tossed in the chips to call.

Olonoh showed {3-Clubs}{3-Spades} for a flopped set to take the pot as his opponent mucked.

Zimnik Bombs River

Three-way action was in progress on a flop of {2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Hearts}. Nathan Zimnik bet 1,500 from the cutoff, and he got a call from the small blind and from Nicolas Betbese from middle position.

The turn was the {a-Hearts}. Betbese led out with a bet of 7,000, Zimnik called and the small blind folded.

The river was the {5-Clubs}. Betbese checked over to Zimnik who bet 26,200 which was for his entire stack except for 1,000 behind. Betbese mulled it over for several moments before finding the fold.

Kanit's Stack Building

Mustapha Kanit called a preflop raise on the button and went four ways to the {5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop. Kanit called another bet to the {k-Clubs} turn and led out for 4,200, earning folds from all three opponents to take down the pot.

Begleiter Looking for Another Deep Run

Former November Nine finalist Steven Begleiter is looking for another deep run in the Main Event after taking sixth place in 2009.

A player in middle position raised to 1,000 and Begleiter three-bet to 3,200 from the button. The player in middle position called and the flop came {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

The middle position player checked and called Begleiter's bet for 3,500.

Both players checked the {7-Spades} turn and {5-Diamonds} river. Begleiter turned over {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for queens and fives as his opponent mucked the losing hand.
