Arieh Flops Quads, Dodges Royal Flush Draw

Nível 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

A short-stacked player in middle position open-jammed for 25,100 and Josh Arieh attempted to raise in late position without realizing there had been a call. Arieh was forced to call the all in and the action folded to the big blind, who flat-called with around 7,000 behind.

The flop came {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and the big blind led all in.

"It's really shocking what I have," Arieh said before flipping over {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for quads and then apologizing for "slow-rolling" his opponent.

The big blind stayed in his chair as he had an out holding {a-Spades}{k-Spades} for a Royal Flush draw, while the other player in the hand was drawing dead with {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}.

The board ran out {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} to send both opponents to the rail and the four-time bracelet winner raked in the pot while a pair of TV cameras hovered over him.
