Henson Doubles

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Ray Henson was seen gathering a double up as his {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs} was the winner on a board of {q-}{6-}{k-}{5-}{q-} for a full house as he stayed alive late in Day 2.

Counts and Busts

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Franco Stays Alive

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Sonny Franco was all in on the flop as it read {6-Spades}{8-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. Franco had the {9-Spades}{5-Spades}{a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} while Richard Ashby was trying to deliver the knockout blow with the {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}.

But the turn was the {a-Spades} to give Franco the flush and sit him down as the river came the {5-Hearts} to keep him alive.

Chino Rheem

Chino Rheem found himself all in and at risk against Steven Forman and another short stack.

Chino Rheem: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Steven Forman: {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Short Stack: {x-}{x-}{x-}{x-}

"Time to get lucky," said Rheem.

The board came {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Rheem made the nut flush on the river to survive. The short-stacked player was eliminated and his hand was swept away quickly by the dealer.

Slight Change in Schedule

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

The floor has just announced that due to the length of the bubble earlier today and the steady progression of eliminations, play will only go through the end of Level 19 tonight rather than Level 20, as was originally scheduled.

Coleman vs Nazarenko

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

The {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop was already dealt when David Coleman from the hijack called a bet of 150,000 by Ruslan Nazarenko from the cutoff.

Both players checked after the {5-Spades} landed on the turn to see the {7-Spades} river. Coleman led with a hefty bet of 350,000 which Nazarenko relented to after a few moments and mucked his cards.

Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow

Mike Matusow bet 30,000 on the {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop and Brian Hastings raised to 150,000. Matusow called all in for 135,000 total and was at risk.

Mike Matusow: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Brian Hastings: {2-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Matusow was on a heart flush draw, while Hasting held trip deuces.

"Bink," said Matusow as the turn {7-Clubs} hit the board, but it did not help him.

"Bink," said Matusow again as the {j-Hearts} peeled off on the river to give him a flush.

Matusow doubled up and Hastings was left short.
