Day 1 of Event #75: $1,500 Freezout No-Limit Hold’em Begins Today

The first of three days of action begins today at 11 a.m. (PST) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino for Event #75: $1,500 Freezout No-Limit Hold’em, which is a new event at the World Series of Poker. .

Players will start with 25,000 in chips with the blinds at 100/100/100. Play is scheduled for 17 levels of play at 40-minutes each, with 15-minute breaks after every three levels.

There will be a 75-minute dinner break after Level 9 at approximately 5:40 p.m. and late registration is open through Level 9, until the end of the dinner break at about 6:55 p.m. local time. This is a freezeout event so there will be no rebuys.

Players who advance to Day 2 will return tomorrow, Tuesday, November 16 at 11 a.m. Day 2 will then play ten levels of 60-minutes with the winner will be crowned on Day 3.

This is the last tournament of the new freezeout series introduced by the WSOP this year.
