Team Botfeld Claims First Win of the Day

Nível 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Michael Newman of Team Newman raised to 60,000 from the middle position and Amanda Botfeld of Team Botfeld three-bet to 175,000 from the button. The blinds folded and Newman asked for a confirmation before making the call.

They both checked through the {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{j-Spades} flop to the {9-Diamonds} on the turn. Newman fired a bet of 125,000 out which Botfeld called.

The river completed the board with the {6-Spades} and Newman glanced over to Botfeld's stack. He then put in a stack of chips and the dealer confirmed a bet of 275,000. Botfeld contemplated it for a bit, looked over to the rail, and then made the call. Newman tabled the {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for Botfeld to show her {k-Spades}{j-Hearts} for the two pair and the pot.
