We haven't seen him yet, but according to Doyle Brunson he can't resist the lure of another WSOP.

Earlier this year he tweeted out that he would be playing "a few select tournaments" during the 2021 World Series of Poker.

Poker fans will surely be looking forward to potentially seeing the ten-time bracelet winner in action in some of the bigger buy-in Mixed Game events such as the $50,000 Poker Players Championship.

Hartman Finds the Call

Nível 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

With about 50,000 in the middle the board read {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades} and Tony Hartman was faced with a bet of 8,000.

Hartman tanked for about a minute, trying to dig deep. If he called and lost he would only have less than 10,000 chips remaining. Eventually, he splashed in the 8,000 chips and his opponent tabled {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a busted flush draw. Hartman scooped the pot when he showed {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Rojanavongse Bets Big on the River

Nível 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Ott Rojanavongse

Dan Heimiller raised to 4,500 from middle position and was called by Guy Cicconi from the blinds and Ott Rojanavongse from under the gun, who had limped in.

Rojanavongse bet out 4,500 on the {10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop and Heimiller raised to 11,000. Both opponents called, then all three players checked the {8-Clubs} turn.

On the {3-Hearts} river, Rojanavongse bet 25,000, Heimiller folded, but Cicconi called. Rojanavongse showed {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for the turned nut flush and Cicconi mucked.

Rojanavongse had taken a few hits to his stack after nearing 200,000 earlier in the day but is back up to around 110,000 with that pot.

Lyons Sitting on Big Stack

Nível 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Pat Lyons currently owns a stack of around 165,000 after taking out a player in a huge confrontation.

According to Lyons, he raised to 5,000 from the button and the big blind three-bet to 13,000. Lyons called and the flop came {a-}{2-}{4-}. Both players got their nearly identical chip stacks in the middle.

Big Blind: {q-}{q-}
Pat Lyons: {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

Lyons had flopped a set of deuces and stayed ahead as the board ran out {5-}{9-} to take the pot and send the big blind to the rail.

"That's a good stack," Lyons said as he counted his new chips.

Johnson Breaths on the Pot to Win

Nível 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Angelo Kociper raised in middle position to 3,800 and Suzanne Johnson defended the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Johnson check-called a bet of 5,100 from Kociper.

The turn was the {2-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {9-Clubs} on the river. Johnson eyed up her chips and as soon as she grabbed a stack that looked like 14,000 Kociper pitched his cards directly into the muck.

Ramdin Out

Nível 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Victor Ramdin was all in for his last 300 in the small blind on a completed board of {k-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{q-Spades}{4-Diamonds}.

Ramdin held {4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, which was no good against the {7-}{6-} of his opponent and Ramdin was eliminated.

According to Ramdin, he lost most of his chips in the hand prior, wherein he got all-in preflop against a player whom he barely had covered with pocket jacks against pocket eights and lost.

John Lathrop: {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Robert Kuhn: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
