Day 2 of Event #28: $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha is over with five players remaining and Dylan Weisman having a commanding chip lead with a stack of 9,435,000 after running hot throughout the day. The next closest in chips is Alexander Yen with a stack of 5,530,000 and Tim Vanloo with 4,545,000.

The day began with 59 players and dwindled down to half of that within the first few hours of play. Notable players who made deep runs but didn't make the final table include Bryan Micon, Michael Perrone, and Jungwoong Park.

The final table of nine players turned to eight when the short-stacked Karen Sarkisyan busted shortly after doubling up. The excited and cheerful Youness Barakat was next out when he got it in with a pair of jacks and Weisman paired his king to win the pot.

A highlight of the final table included when a short-stacked Craig Chait was all-in against Chase Fujita. Fujita flopped a diamond flush against the pair of kings Chait, who went runner-runner to hit a full house as his rail consisting of Ari Engel, Carol Fuchs, and others screamed in celebration.

A few orbits later, Fujita was sent out in sixth when he got his stack in with a pair and a straight draw but lost to the flush of Yen as the board ran out.

Day 3 of Event #28: $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha will commence on Oct. 16 at noon local time and play down to a winner, who will earn a coveted WSOP bracelet and $166,461.

Stay tuned as the PokerNews live reporting team will be back tomorrow bringing you Day 3 updates.

Chase Fujita raised to 225,000 before Craig Chait went all in for his last 700,000.

"475 more, that's it," he told Fujita. Fujita eventually made the call.

Craig Chait: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades}

Chait was ahead but was left drawing thin when the flop came {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, giving Fujita the nut flush. Chait got some hope when the turn came {2-Spades}, opening the possibility of a full house.

That hope was realized when the {k-Hearts} fell on the river. Chait's rail erupted in celebration as Fujita handed over the pot.
