Aces Full for Racener

Nível 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

John Racener opened to 11,000 from the hijack and was called by Andre Akkari on the button and Brian Altman in the big blind. The flop came {a-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Altman checked to Racener who continued for 11,000. Akkari called and Altman got out of the way.

The {2-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn and both players checked to the {j-Diamonds} on the river. Racener led out with a bet of 56,000 and Akkari ripped all in. Racener snap-called off his stack of 271,000 and turned over {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} for a full house. Akkari's cards were sent into the muck and he slid over a double up to Racener.

"Sickest River" Takes Out Akopov

Nível 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Andrew Jeong and Boris Akopov were heads-up in the blinds with the flop reading {7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Jeong tossed in a bet from the small blind only to have Akopov shove all in. Jeong made the call and the cards were tabled.

Boris Akopov: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Andrew Jeong: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

Akopov was in a great position with top pair and a flush draw. The {5-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn and the {6-Clubs} landed on the river. Although Akopov improved to a flush, Jeong spiked a full house to send Akopov packing.

"That's the sickest river I've seen this afternoon," Akopov joked as he headed to the rail.

Kassela Gets a Fold from Grafton

Nível 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Sam Grafton raised it up to 8,000 in the cutoff and picked up calls from Frank Kassela on the button along with both of the blinds. The flop came {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} and the blinds checked to Grafton who continued for 9,000. Kassela called and the blinds folded.

The turn was the {j-Spades} and Grafton slowed down with a check this time. Kassela threw in a bet of 28,000 and Grafton stuck around for the {10-Spades} on the river. Grafton checked again and Kassela counted out a bet of 84,000.

Grafton went into the tank for a couple of minutes while Kassela casually sipped on his bottle of water. Grafton eventually released his cards and Kassela dragged in the pot.
