It is time for some World Series of Poker seven card stud action as Event #14: $1,500 Seven Card Stud gets underway at 4 p.m. local time.
Players get a 25,000 starting stack for the $1,500 buy-in. Levels are 40 minutes in length on Day 1, with a 15-minute break every three levels. Late registration is open through nine levels (roughly 9:45 p.m.). 15 levels will be played today with action starting with limits at 200-400. The remaining players will return for Day 2 at 2 p.m. PT on Thursday where levels will expand to 60 minutes.
This event is always one of the most prized mixed games bracelets of the WSOP. The last time it was played in 2019, one of the most accomplished mixed game players out there emerged as champion. Eli Elezra took home his 4th WSOP Bracelet as he topped a field of 285 and a memorable final table which included; runner-up Anthony Zinno, Valentin Vornicu (Third Place), Rep Porter (Fifth Place) and Scott Seiver (8th Place) to win the bracelet and $93,766. It was the second time that Elezra won the $1,500 seven card stud event as he also won it in 2015.
