"The One Hand in the Deck I Can Beat!"

Nível 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Adedapo Ajayi opened from under the gun to 135,000 and was called by Martin Huk in middle position and Mostafa
Ashkarkhizani in the big blind.

The flop came {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Ashkarkhizani checked. Ajayi put in a continuation-bet of 300,000 and Huk got out of the way before Ashkarkhizani put in chips to call.

The turn was {9-Diamonds} and Ashkarkhizani checked again. Ajayi took an oversized T$500K chip and five orange T$5,000 chips and dropped them in front of him, betting 525,000. Ashkarkhizani calmly made the call without much consideration.

The river fell {a-Spades} and Ashkarkhizani led out for 400,000. Ajayi went into the tank, seemingly confused about the situation and thought his decision through for around 90 seconds before checking his cards. Moments later, he made the call.

Ashkarkhizani tabled {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and the dealer announced a pair of kings. Ajayi seemed surprised and turned over {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

"Pair of kings, jack plays," said the dealer, confirming Ajayi's hand was best.

Ajayi was laughing and surprised at the same time to see his opponent show up with a worse king, exclaiming as he stacked his chips, "The one hand in the deck I can beat!"

Bohlman Runs Big Slick Into Aces

Nível 25 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Scott Bohlman
Scott Bohlman

It took a couple of preflop raises but Scott Bohlman and Henry Lu found a way to get all of their chips in the middle before any community cards were dealt. Bohlman was the player at risk for 2,095,000 chips and didn't like the result when the cards were tabled.

Scott Bohlman: {a-}{k-}
Henry Lu: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

The board ran out {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and Bohlman was ousted from the Main Event. Lu has climbed to nearly 5 million chips after being down to just 200,000 before the dinner break.

Kim Busts Beasy in Big Pot

Nível 25 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Joseph Beasy
Joseph Beasy

Jiwoon Kim opened to 125,000 just before the blinds went up and he was called two ways by Joseph Beasy in the hijack and Ian Pelz on the button. On the {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop, Kim checked and Beasy made it 200,000 to go in order to force a fold from Pelz and receive a call from Kim.

The {9-Clubs} fell on the turn and Kim check-raised from 500,000 to 1,000,000, which then prompted a shove for 3,370,000 by Beasy. Kim called and that created a massive pot on the main feature table.

Joseph Beasy: {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Jiwoon Kim: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Beasy's turned two pair had him in desperate shape and he failed to hit a miracle on the blank {7-Spades} river.

Koerper Doubles Big Through Ajayi

Nível 25 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

With {10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{k-Spades} on the felt and about 1.7 million in the pot, Adedapo Ajayi had the all in button in front of him on the button. Zackary Koerper pushed in his stack from the big blind and tabled {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}. Ajayi had {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and needed a queen to bust his opponent. The river was a {9-Diamonds}.

"Aces are good," the dealer said.

"Aces are great," Ajayi said with a sigh. "Nice hand."

He sent over just shy of 2.9 million.

Schindler Flips Well Against Gates

Nível 25 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Garry Gates opened to 120,000 and Jake Schindler three-bet all in for the last 365,000 in the small blind, which Gates called.

Jake Schindler: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Garry Gates: {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

The {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop and the {q-Hearts} turn kept the pocket pair in the lead, but the {10-Hearts} on the river improved Schindler to the nut straight.

Perfect Board for Hachem Dooms Yurasov

Nível 25 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Dmitry Yurasov
Dmitry Yurasov

Jill Bryant bet 200,000 on a {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{a-Spades}{5-Spades} board from the big blind. Dmitry Yurasov called from under the gun and Daniel Hachem made it 700,000 from a couple of seats over, in between bites of pizza. Bryant folded but Yurasov stuffed it for about 1.1 million. Unfortunately for him, he was met with a quick call as Hachem held {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for the nuts.

Yurasov was drawing live with {a-}{q-} but the {6-Diamonds} river had him knuckling the table in submission.

Nível 25 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

On a board reading {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} Adam Duong bet 440,000 and was called by Mukul Pahuja. The river came the {6-Spades}.
