Cheong Adds More

Nível 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Shortly after his big hand against Nick Schulman, Joseph Cheong was involved in a pot against Andy Tsai. Cheong check-called on a {7-Spades}{8-Hearts}{q-Clubs} flop, with the turn falling {4-Hearts}, which saw Tsai bet 42,000. Cheong called and the river came the {9-Diamonds} with both players checking.

Cheong showed the {k-Hearts}{k-Spades} for the overpair, which was good as Tsai mucked his hand.

Frustrating Runout for Dzivielevski

Nível 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Vitor Dzivielevski, down to less than 100,000 chips, was looking for a spot to get it in and he found one versus Jim Bechtel. The two players were all in preflop and Dzivielevski had the best hand when the cards were turned over.

Vitor Dzivielevski: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Jim Bechtel: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

The flop came {2-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and all was looking good for the all-in player. The {10-Spades} turn counterfeited Dzivielevski's kicker with two pair on the board and the {a-Clubs} didn't change that. Dzivielevski had to make do with splitting the blinds.

Cheong Doubles Through Schulman In Set Over Set Hand

Nível 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Joseph Cheong

A massive hand between bracelet winners Nick Schulman and Joseph Cheong recently played out.

Cheong's chips were being counted out in front of him with the board reading {2-Hearts}{j-Spades}{k-Spades}{a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. Both players had their cards face up.

Nick Schulman: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Joseph Cheong: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

Cheong sat in middle position while Schulman was in the small blind. Schulman had flopped a set but Cheong caught up on the turn and all the chips ended up in the middle after both players rivered a full house.

Brown Takes a Minor Dent

Nível 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Rory Brown called an under-the-gun open to 9,000 from Igor Kurganov, only to see the big blind move in for 70,500. Kurganov folded but Brown quickly called with {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}. He was dominated by {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and the board ran out {2-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, denting his stack a tad.

Price Pairs and Mu Pays

Nível 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Oliver Price bet 5,500 on an {8-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts} board and Dapeng Mu raised to 15,500. Price called and the pair checked the {k-Hearts} river.

Price showed {5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for a double gutter and a pair of sixes and that was enough to win the pot.
