The Sad Tale Of Table #441 Seat 6

Nível 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

A player at Table #441 alerted us to a potential tragedy in the making, as the player to his left had not returned from the break. According to players at the table, they believe something may have been lost in translation, as he left for break with a short stack, and currently has just 7,000 chips remaining. If he truly thought that this was the dinner break, there's some time to go before he would return from the break.

Hopefully, the player in question will return before his entire stack gets blinded out and he has a true "bad beat" story on his hands.

Heder Bests Ziegelbecker in a Four-Bet Pot

Nível 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

DJ Alexander opened for 3 ,000 in middle position, Oswin Ziegelbecker made it 9,000 on the button and big blind Mick Heder repopped it to 22,000. Alexander quickly folded but Ziegelbecker tanked awhile then called for about 40 percent of his total chips. The flop checked through for a board of {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}. Heder downbet with 7,000 and Ziegelbecker conceded.

Paul Takes a Chunk out of Papazian

Nível 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Thomas Paul raised in early position to 3,000, the button and small blind called while Alexandru Papazian three-bet to 18,000 and only Paul made the call.

The dealer spread a flop of {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Papazian led out for 9,000 which Paul raised him to 23,000 and he made the call.

Both players checked on the {6-Spades} turn and the {k-Clubs} landed on the river. Papazian was first to act and while deciding to check or bet, the clock was called, he had 30-seconds to act and when he was down to four seconds he threw in a 33,000 bet. The chips hadn't even landed in the middle before Paul threw in one chip signaling a call.

Papazian showed {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and Paul showed {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} to take down the pot with kings and tens.

Ho Hits the Backdoor Hearts

Nível 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

A completed board of {6-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} was spread across the felt with around 25,000 in the middle. The big blind checked to Maria Ho in middle position who announced a bet of 17,600.

It seemed to stump her opponent who went into the tank for well over three minutes. Ho sat with a stone-face the entire time until her opponent finally called. Ho turned over {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a backdoor flush and her opponent obviously couldn't beat it.

Kamalad Sends One Out

Nível 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The player in middle position raised to 4,000 and the hijack called. The cutoff three-bet shoved for 23,000 and Dima Kamalad called from the big blind. The player in middle position and the hijack folded.

Opponent : {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Dima Kamalad: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The board ran out {j-Spades}{3-Spades}{a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades} and Kamalad took down the pot with his pair of aces eliminating his opponent.

Daniel Strelitz

Daniel Strelitz raised to 2,500 on the button, and the big blind made the call.

Both players checked the {3-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop, and the big blind checked the {3-Clubs} turn. Strelitz bet 4,000, and the big blind check-raised to 12,000, leaving himself 17,100 behind. Strelitz called.

The big blind shoved on the {a-Clubs} river, and Strelitz snap-called, tabling {a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for a full house. HIs opponent nodded, then flipped over {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for a flush before leaving the tournament area.
