Vogelsang Gets Squeeze Through

Nível 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Action folded to the cutoff who opened to 1,100 and received calls from the players on the button and in the small blind.

Christoph Vogelsang three-bet to 6,500 and the cutoff went into the tank for about two minutes before folding. A few seconds later, the remaining two players had folded and Vogelsang was raking in the pot he had just taken down preflop.

The German native with just shy of $20 million in winnings throughout his career is off to a good start today and is a definite name to watch as the tournament progresses.

Duthie Wins on the Turn

Nível 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

John Duthie opened to 1,100 in middle position and was met with a call from the button.

The flop landed {k-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Duthie continued for 600 with his opponent calling as the {2-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Duthie tossed in an orange 5,000-denomination chip and announced an inaudible bet amount and his opponent folded.

Buck Doubles With a Full House

Nível 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Kevin Buck, who had previously made a big bluff earlier in the day, jammed for 33,900 into a pot of 37,000 on a {9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds} board, sending his opponent into the tank.

After about a minute, Beck's opponent threw in a call, only to quickly muck after Buck turned over {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} for sevens full and the winner.

Assorted Chip Counts From Amazon Purple

Nível 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

As told to us by the man himself, Mike Holm was able to eliminate a foe with {9-}{9-} besting {a-}{8-} on an {a-}{8-}{10-}{8-}{9-} board to jump to 130,000, but has since faded back to his current count.

Hwang Makes Flush

Nível 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Action arrived at the river three handed with a pot of at least 15,000 on a board of {j-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Frederic Hwang was in the big blind and bet 15,000. Andre Akkari then had action on him in early position and he found a fold rather quickly. A final player in middle position then became the only other player left in the pot and he confidently announced a call, getting ready to table his cards.

However, Hwang showed {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and the dealer announced a flush, causing the player in middle position to muck his hand in lieu of tabling it and the dealer shipped Hwang the pot.

Flop Bet Win for Busquet

Cooler Turn Works Well For Lascell

Nível 3 : 200/400, 400 ante
Daniel Lascell
Daniel Lascell

Joseph Young had 8,000 in front of him from the small blind on a {q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{j-Spades} board, and was faced with an all-in shove from Daniel Lascell for 37,000. Young tanked for a few minutes before calling.

Daniel Lascell: {k-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Joseph Young: {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Both players had turned straights, but Lascell's king-high straight earned him the double when the {9-Clubs} river failed to provide Young a king for a chop.
