In a three-way pot Royce Kim, first to act in the small blind, checked the flop. After the next player to act bet 2,200 and was called, Kim check-raised to 8,000, which got a fold from the bettor and a call from the third player in the hand.

Kim led out for 10,000 on the turn, which was met with an all in shove that Kim immediately called.

The all-in player had turned top pair with the top kicker, but was drawing dead to Kim's flopped set of deuces even before the dealer fanned the river.

Vasilyev Keeps His Foot on the Gas

Vladimir Vasilyev raised to 900 from under-the-gun and was called by a player in middle position. The cutoff-player made it 4,100 to go and both players called.

After both players checked over to the cutoff-player on the flop, he continued for 2,700. With action back on Vasilyev he check-raised to 6,300, which got a fold from the middle-position player and a call from the cutoff-player. Vasilyev then led out with a bet of 10,500 on the turn, took down the pot and added to his stack, which has more than doubled since the start of the tournament.
