Hands #121-124: First Heads-Up Exchanges

Nível 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Hand #121: Michael Gagliano opened to 125,000 from the small blind and Shankar Pillai called from the big blind. The flop was {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and was checked around to the {7-Hearts} turn and to the {3-Spades} river. Both players opted to check again. Pillai tabled {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Gagliano revealed {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} to win the pot with a pair of jacks.

Hand #122: Pillai raised to 125,000 from the small blind and Gagliano folded.

Hand #123: Gagliano raised to 125,000 from the small blind and Pillai called. The dealer fanned a flop of {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Pillai checked. Gagliano fired 150,000 and Pillai check-called. The turn was the {10-Spades} and Pillai checked once more. Gagliano continued with a bet of 400,000 that was enough to claim the pot.

Hand #124: Pillai raised to 125,000 on the button and Gagliano called from the big blind. The flop came {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Gagliano check-called a bet of 150,000 from Pillai. The turn brought the {6-Hearts} and was checked through to the {2-Spades} river. This time, Gagliano led out with a bet of 500,000 and Pillai let it go.
