"Joe Hachem Gets It In Bad"

Down to his last 230,000, Corey Hochman saw action folded to him on the button and raised the pot to 175,000. Hachem confirmed he only had 55,000 behind and continued deliberating, saying he was unsure of what he should do. After a minute, he raised to put Hochman all in and Hochman called.

Joe Hachem: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Hachem was in shock when he saw Hochman's hand, exclaiming it was about the worst hand he could have imagined being up against. The board ran out {2-Hearts}{j-Spades}{8-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, giving Hachem's bleak outlook a slight hope on the flop with a gutshot straight draw. However, he failed to fill up and Hochman earned the double.

After the hand, Bryce Yockey joked, telling Hachem that it was really hard to get it in as poorly as Hachem did in this game. The table erupted in laughter, Hachem included.

Chris Vitch added to the fun with his own headline for the hand: "Joe Hachem Gets It In Bad."
