After winning a pot against Michael McKenna without showdown in the previous orbit, Brian Hastings limped to enter the pot from early position. Joe Hachem was on the button and also limped in. Denis Strebkov folded in the small blind and McKenna announced a raise of the pot to 225,000. Hastings called and Hachem deliberated before folding.
With action heads up, the flop came 
and McKenna checked. After asking to see McKenna's stack, it was Hastings' turn for a pot-sized bet of 525,000. McKenna folded and now finds himself under the one-million chip mark whereas Hastings has catapulted over two million with the winning of the pot.
