Pocket Jacks Send Joseph and Ross Out

Nível 32 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

It was a classic flip for Marc Joseph and the South African could not get there with ace-king against {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, as he was drawing dead on the turn of a board {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Moments later there was a loud scream coming from table 204, on which David Ross saw his hopes destroyed on the river when his {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} were cracked by the {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} of Ryan Depaulo on a board of {q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{j-Spades}.

Miles Wins Monster Pot

Nível 32 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Showing up on the river on a board of {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, there was roughly 4,000,000 in the middle and Alex Miles was being paid 3,545,000 by Josh Bergman , and both of their hands were tabled. Miles had {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for nines full of jacks and Bergman had {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} for trip jacks, sending a massive pot to Miles and leaving Bergman short.

Shortly after Bergman was eliminated.

Russell Denied a Knockout

Nível 31 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Matt Russell finished 7th in Event #26 $2,620 No-Limit Hold'em Marathon and was on the verge of scoring a knockout to build his stack further. Russell tabled the {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and his opponent had put his hopes on {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. The board came {6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and the straight on the board ensured the split pot.

The same table also features Mark "Pegasus" Smith from Kentucky and Andrew Barber.

Berner Makes Huge Bluff on the River

Nível 31 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Ashton Berner raised from middle position to 350,000 and the big blind defended.

The flop came {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and the big blind check-called Berner's bet of 370,000. The turn got checked around on the {q-Hearts}.

The big blind checked once again on the {3-Hearts} river and Berner moved all-in for roughly 2,300,000, his opponent had slightly less than him and went deep into the tank. After about 4 full minutes the clock was called and he used about 10 seconds before letting his hand go. Berner then called for PokerNews to look at his hand, he showed {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs} to PokerNews and threw his cards into the muck.

Nuevo Eliminated by Spinazzola

Nível 31 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Paul Nuevo pushed for the last 1,045,000 and he was called by Angelo Spinazzola from one seat over.

Paul Nuevo: {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Angelo Spinazzola: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

The board came {j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and that sent the Spaniard to the rail. Spinazzola then raised to 300,000 the next hand just before the blinds went up, which was called two ways. On the {10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop, Spinazzola bet 400,000 and scooped another decent pot.

Patni Makes Two Pair

Nível 31 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

The player under-the-gun raised, and Kunal Patni called two spots over, and the rest of the table folded.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, and the under-the-gun player led out 250,000, which Patni called.

Both players checked on the {a-Hearts} turn and the {q-Clubs} landed on the river. The under-the-gun player checked and Patni bet out 475,000, and he was called quickly. Patni tabled {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for a rivered two pair and missed king-high flush draw and his opponent tabled the losing {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.
