Coats Bluffs Drinan

There were four players in on a {9-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop. Adam Coats checked, Connor Drinan bet 28,000, which was enough to push Mike Matusow and Adrian Jimenez out of the way but not Coats who called.

The turn was the {4-Hearts} and when Coats checked again, Drinan checked it back. The river was the {9-Hearts}, pairing the board. Coats opted to lead, betting 55,000 into the pot. After asking for a count, Drinan went into the tank for a couple of minutes looking a little uncomfortable with the decision he was about to make.

He decided to pass but showed {a-Spades}{9-Clubs} when doing so and Coats obliged by turning over {10-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for the bluff.

Larsson Lays Down Aces

Nível 16 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

As the money bubble was approaching, on a board reading {4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} Erik Larsson was deep in the tank considering a large river bet from David Barraclough. After thinking it over he gave it up and folded two aces face up to send the pot the way of his opponent.

Prociak Dominating

David Prociak

There is less than one table to go before the bubble bursts and unsurprisingly, play has slowed down significantly. There are many stacks at risk of bubbling, among them are James Cheong who has been left short of late. Someone who doesn't have to worry about that is David Prociak, who has a formidable stack following a great few hours of play today.

Mizrachi River Bomb Gets it Done

Nível 15 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Michael Mizrachi made a hefty river bet of over 100,000 on a board that read {6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades}. His opponent thought it over for a few moments before folding to the pressure and The Grinder took down a nice pot for his stack.

Roper Eliminated by Lisandro

Nível 15 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Jeff Lisandro
Jeff Lisandro

All the chips went in preflop after David Roper raised from early position and Jeff Lisandro three-bet, which was enough to cover his opponent. When Roper made the call, they flipped their cards on their backs.

Jeff Lisandro: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
David Roper: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}

The {j-Spades}{a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop gave Lisandro a set of aces and Roper was looking for running cards eight or lower to stay in contention for the low. The {7-Hearts} turn was a big help but the {x-} river bricked for the all-in player, who made his way to the exit. It was good news for Lisandro who is moving in the right direction.
