Team Sanders Snaps a Shove

Nível 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Kellina Sanders opened to 2,500 from the hijack and the player in the cutoff shoved for 28,000. Jesse Sylvia was sitting on the button, checking out the stack of the cutoff-player. He decided to fold and so did the duo in the blinds. The action was back on Sanders who snap-called with pocket queens. Her opponent held {a-}{k-}. The flop came {q-}{5-}{3-} for Sanders to hit a set. The turn was the {8-} and the river bricked for her opponent to hit the shower.

Team Mizrachi Done

Nível 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

Michael Mizrachi tagged in for Team Mizrachi and John Racener tagged in for Team Noam a few minutes earier. The whole rail was nudging Sarah Brocca to tag in so she could play against her fiancé but Racener needed to play his blinds first. Once he did, Sarah sat down, while the rest of Team Mizrachi posed behind Michael for the yearly group photo.

Mizrachi raised to 1,300 from the late position and the team in the hijack thee-bet to 3,500. Action folded Mizrachi who made the call.

The flop came {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, Mizrachi checked, his opponent continued with a bet of 3,500 and Mizrachi shoved for 7,800 in total. His opponent quickly called.

"Flopped it!" Mizrachi said.

Team Mizrachi: {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Opponent: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Mizrachi had flopped two pair indeed but the turn brought them the {10-Spades} to give their opponents a set of tens. The river completed the board with the {2-Clubs} which wasn't good enough to save the brothers' tournament lives as they were sent to the rail.
