Sean Winter Eliminated in 16th Place ($60,732)

Nível 24 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante
Sean Winter
Sean Winter

Ka Kwan Lau opened to 150,000 and Sean Winter min-raised to 240,000 from middle position. Lau called and the flop was {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}

Lau bet enough to go all in and Winter called.

Ka Kwan Lau: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Sean Winter: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

Winter was calling for most cards in the deck, unclear what exactly he needed to save him. He called for a jack but by the time the {j-Hearts} came on the turn he had changed his mind and wanted a six instead. The {6-Hearts} on the river was too little too late and he was eliminated.

Nível 24 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

One hand later, Epstein raised the button to 150,000 and Korkis came along from the small blind. Korkis check-raised the {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop from 125,000 to 500,000 and Epstein snap-folded.

Alex Epstein made it 150,000 to go from the cutoff and Paul Volpe three-bet the pot for 510,000 in total out of the small blind. Epstein called and they headed to a flop of {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Spades}. Volpe carefully riffled his chips and gave it some 90 seconds of consideration before moving all in for the last 570,000.

Epstein called in a heartbeat and they tabled their cards.

Paul Volpe: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Alex Epstein: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

The {a-Clubs} turn gave Volpe some additional outs, however, he failed to improve on the blank {3-Hearts} river to finish in 15th place for $60,732.

Nível 25 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Ka Kwan Lau opened to 200,000 and Evan Krentzman three-bet to 680,000 with 40,000 behind. The action was on Matthew Gonzales who stood up and eyed the other table.

"Clock," said James Chen and after a brief back and forth, with Robert Mizrachi pleading Gonzales' case, he was allowed some more time.

"He's usually quick," Mizrachi explained to Chen. Eventually, Gonzales folded and Lau moved all in. Krentzman called.

Ka Kwan Lau: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades}
Evan Krentzman: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}

Krentzman flopped two pair on the {10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop. The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and Krentzman clapped his hands together in apparent celebration after the {6-Diamonds} river. He leant forward wiggling his two pair on the table.

However, Lau had made a full house - sixes full of deuces - and Krentzman was eliminated.
