Campbell Pulling Away With Three Consecutive Pots
Robert Campbell opened from the small blind and David Bach defended his big blind. Each player took two cards on the first draw and Bach led out after. Campbell called and second draws went pat and one. Bach bet again and Campbell announced a raise. Bach made the call and both players stood pat on the final draw. Bach then checked to Campbell, who put in a bet. Bach studied his opponent and made the call.
Campbell tabled for an eight-perfect and Bach nodded as he mucked.
On the next hand, Bach raised the small blind and Campbell defended. Each player took two and Campbell led out. Bach called. The second draw went one and two and Campbell fired again, forcing a fold from Bach.
On the very next hand, Campbell opened from the small blind and Bach defended. Bach took four and Campbell drew two and Bach check-called a continuation-bet from Campbell. On the second draw Bach took two and Campbell one. Bach then check-called another bet from Campbell and final draws went two and one. Both players checked to the end.
Bach tabled , signaling he had drawn to a pair of sixes. Campbell then turned over and took down the pot with a pair of deuces.
