Event #3: BIG 50 - $500 No-Limit Hold'em
Dia 1a Iniciado
Yesterday saw the beginning of the first two events of the 50th annual World Series of Poker in Las Vegas and today is the start of an exceptional event, Event #3 THE BIG 50.
What’s so special about this event? The World Series of Poker is the longest-running, largest, richest, and most prestigious gaming event in the world, dating back 49 years to 1970. The BIG 50 is one of nineteen new events to make their WSOP debut and was created for the players that have made the last 49 years so special and helped the WSOP grow to what it is today.
The event features a $500 buy-in with a$5 million guaranteed prize pool and $1 million guaranteed prize to the winner, not to mention everyone’s first entry is rake free! This means 100% of everyone's initial entry will go directly into the prizepool. Re-entries will be raked as standard, and each player will be allowed a single re-entry per flight.
The BIG 50 is a deep-structured tournament with a 50,000-starting stack and 50-minute blind levels. Registration remains open in this event until the start of Level 11 for each starting flight. Players eliminated from the tournament are allowed to reenter the same flight up to one time or enter any other remaining starting flight.
The Big 50 already has broken the WSOP pre-registration record with more than 5,000 entries and may even break the record for most entries for a WSOP event, which is 22,374 for the Colossus in 2015.
The BIG 50 event will have four Day 1 flights with day 1a starting today at 11 AM local time.
We have approx. 1,000 seats left to sell for today's Flight A of BIG 50. If you plan on playing today, best to get… https://t.co/ZKXbi37kwt
