Treolo's Bubble Period Profitable

John Treolo made a comeback from a two big bet stack to around 44,000 - all on the bubble. That first hand - aces full - brought him back from the brink (to 14,000). Then a big three-way pot saw him all in on fifth street against two opponents, having three-bet on third and signalled his commitment to the hand. The others checked the remaining streets to get to showdown.

Zhigalov Send Vornicu Into the Tank

Andrey Zhigalov fired bets on sixth and seventh street, and the final bet made Valentin Vornicu take pause for several minutes. Vornicu verified the order of Zhigalov's board and thought for awhile longer before finally making the call, and mucking when Zhigalov turned over {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} for a pair of kings.

Barbara Enright Eliminated

Barbara Enright has been eliminated in 50th spot, seven off the money. Having taken titles in events ranging from Omaha Hi-Lo and Lowball Stud to No Limit Hold'em, this all-rounder, the first woman to win a WSOP bracelet in an open event, will have to wait a while longer to claim another.

Her eliminator was Kyle Hinnerichs, now up to a more comfortable 46,500.

Mangine's Can't Find his Runners

Paul Mangine was looking for runner-runner help as the final two streets came in, as he was at-risk against David Prociak.

Mangine needed something miraculous to happen, as his ten-high with backdoor flush and straight draws was dominated against Prociak's {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}. Mangine got some help when the {5-Diamonds} came in on sixth street, making a pair of fives. He looked at his final card and jokingly claimed he had hit his runner, but turned over the {6-Diamonds} and headed for the exit.

"You Know I Got the Goods," Crow Tells Douglas

Isaac Crow, showing {x-}{x-}/{8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} bet into Shane Douglas ({x-}{x-}/{5-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs}) on seventh street, and got a fold, picking up a 25,000 pot.

"You know I got the goods," said Crow.

Douglas wields one of the top three stacks at this stage on Day 2, and after folding was rewarded with a flash of {7-}{7-} for a full house in Crow's hand. The two opponents continued to chat amicably while the blinds rose and the bubble draws ever nearer.

Geilich Takes One with a River Raise

Not a player to take a hit to his stack and go quiet, Ludovic Geilich has recovered following the one he took ten minutes ago from Max Pescatori. On sixth street, against Farhad Mobassery:

Mobassery bet (still 3,000 as level 13 draws to a close) and Geilich made the call. After seventh street was dealt, Mobassery bet again, but this time Geilich raised him. He thought for a moment then gave up his hand; Geilich's hole cards remain a mystery.
