Sean Swingruber
Sean Swingruber

Sean Swingruber ended up all in with the {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Jan Lakota had the slightly inferior pocket pair in {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. The {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop gave Swingruber middle set while Lakota needed a six to a straight. The {k-Clubs} turn was a blank, as was the {8-Spades} river.

"You are winning the important ones," Lakota said after Swingruber doubled once more to get back into contention.

Garcia and Eibinger in the Lead

Nível 39 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Cord Garcia
Cord Garcia

Matthias Eibinger raised to 9,000 and Zachary Clark three-bet to 30,000 in order to pick up a call by Eibinger. They checked down the {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop and the {k-Hearts} turn. On the {2-Clubs} river, Clark bet 60,000 and Eibinger quickly folded.

On the other side of the table, Cord Garcia has turned his chip deficit into a solid lead by taking down plenty of pots. Just now, he lost one of them to see Ricky Guan pull back a few chips. On the {q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop, both checked and did so again on the {9-Spades} turn. Garcia bet the {2-Clubs} river for 15,000 and Guan called.

Garcia annnounced king-high and flashed {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, which Guan had beat with {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}.

"A bit too ambitious," Garcia grinned.

Richard Tuhrim opened the action with a raise to 10,000 and Ben Yu three-bet to 35,000. Tuhrim then four-bet to 88,000 after some consideration, which Yu called. Both players opted to check the {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop and Yu took the betting lead on the {6-Hearts} turn for 80,000.
