Klodnicki Chops with Six

Nível 3 : 250/500, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

Chris Klodnicki was acting first in a three-way pot. He took three while the other two players drew two each. The player in position bet but they continued three-way to the second draw.

Klodnicki drew two, the second player one and the last one patted. Klodnicki checked-raised, getting rid of the player behind him but the player in position called.

Sloppy Klod patted and so did his opponent who called one more bet.

Klodnicki announced a six, rolling over his {A-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{3-}. His opponent leant across the table to see Klodnicki's cards. Then he showed the same hand and they chopped the pot.

"When you said six, I wasn't happy," he added, first thinking that Klodnicki had him beat.

Jason Riesenberg bet on the end out of the big blind with about 2,500 in the pot, only to face a check-raise from Schuyler Thornton. Riesenberg seemed pained and slapped some chips together, then shuffled them furiously before mucking, turning over {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}.

"I wish I could show you a bluff," Thornton said before sending his cards to the dealer as well.

Daniel Strelitz and Bernard Lee have had tough runs on their first shells and are already back in the event on their single allotted reentry. They'll have to make this last shell count if they want to make noise in Event #8.

A-5 Triple Draw

John Racener check-called in the small blind against Chip Jett in the cutoff and then drew a card on the second pull. Jett patted.

"You always get there right away, huh?" Racener said with a smile, checking dark.

Jett bet and Racener called then drew a final card. Both players checked the end and Jett tabled {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-}. It's been a rough start for Racener, who is under half of a starting stack.

2-7 Triple Draw

A player in middle position bet, Dan Zack raised and his opponent made it three bets. Zack called and both players patted the final draw then checked.

With action caught after the first draw, Ray Henson was in the big blind, betting. Marco Johnson raised on the button and a player in the small blind woke up with a check-three-bet but Henson wasn't done yet. He made it four bets and both of his opponents called.

Small blind and Henson stood pat and Johnson discarded one. Henson kept betting, but only Johnson stuck around for the last draw.

Johnson took one again but he couldn't beat Henson's {8-}{7-}{4-}{3-}{2-} in the showdown after the round was checked.
