Reatgui Moves Over a Million

Nível 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Anthony Reategui
Anthony Reategui

Anthony Reategui raised to 26,000 from the cutoff position and the small blind called. The player in the big blind moved all in for 300,000 and, after giving it some thought, Reategui called. The small blind got out of the way and the hands were shown.

Reategui: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Big blind: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The player in the big blind was at risk for his tournament life but he paired his king to take the lead on the {k-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop. The turn was the {4-Hearts} and Reategui picked up a flush draw.

The {9-Clubs} hit the river and the table erupted as Reategui rivered a set of nines to send his opponent to the rail and move over the million chip mark.

Vornicu Chips Up Again

Nível 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Valentin Vornicu
Valentin Vornicu

Valentin Vornicu bet out 30,000 on a {7-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop, only to see the player on the seat next to him raise to 60,000.

Vornicu called the bet and the players saw a {J-Hearts} turn roll of the deck. Vornicu lead again with a bet of 56,000 and his opponent started thinking.

The player next to Vornicu started talking to him, but the only thing Vornicu did was take a sip of his coffee while stoically staring at the felt.

The player eventually folded and Vornicu could start stacking again.

Global Poker: World Series of Poker What 2 Watch 4

Nível 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

The WSOP POY Race, new tournaments in play, and a Phil Ivey update. [Removed:139] presents "What to Watch for" at the World Series of Poker, brought to you by Global Poker.

Elio Fox already has a significant lead in the race for the WSOP Player of the Year. Fox is coming off a bracelet win in the $10K Super-Turbo Bounty, and a second-place finish in the $100K High Roller. Joe Cada and Nick Petrangelo are behind him on the POY leaderboard.

The Big Blind Ante is being put into play across a couple different price points. The $1,500 Big Blind Ante bracelet event is underway.

This week's schedule features two $10K events on the horizon: the Heads-Up Championship and the Dealer's Choice.

The numbers are in on the Colossus: more than 13,000 entries, and a $1 million prize for first. Unfortunately, Phil Ivey won't be taking home the title this year.
