Linde Doubles Up

Nível 9 : 400/800, 0 ante

On a flop of {9-Hearts}{K-Spades}{6-Spades}, Dylan Linde checked in the small blind and then faced a bet of 4,000 from the cutoff and a call from the small blind. Linde potted for 23,000 and the small blind put him all in for a couple of thousands more.

Linde had flopped a set of sixes with {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} while his opponent rolled over {A-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. Linde got a safe runout in {8-Hearts} turn and {6-Hearts} river and scored a massive double.

Shaun Deeb (playing the WSOP Main Event)
Shaun Deeb (playing the WSOP Main Event)

Shaun Deeb is among the last 360 players in the WSOP Main Event but that didn't stop him from firing $3,000 and taking his seat in the PLO 6-Max.

Deeb spent just a few minutes at his table but he doubled his stack to 34,100 and then ran away from the Brasilia Room as the Main Event players were coming back from their last break of the day.

For more updates on Deeb's hands, please switch to the Main Event coverage for the next hour. Then he'll likely roll back to the four-card event.

Rast Comes and Goes

Nível 8 : 300/600, 0 ante

Brian Rast recently took his seat on a table featuring Vlad Darie and Ryan D'Angelo. He spent just a short stint on the table as a recent pot saw him getting eliminated.

Rast was on the button, joining a four-way pot for what looked like 1,500 preflop. The {Q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop brought a 2,500-bet from the cutoff, followed by a 10,000-raise from Rast. The cutoff put Rast all in and Rast went for it with {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}. He was up against the nuts with {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs} but failed to catch up on the {6-Clubs} turn and {10-Clubs} river.

Benyamine On a Nub

Nível 8 : 300/600, 0 ante

There were about 7,500 chips in the pot and the board read {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} when we got to the table. David Benyamine bet 6,000 from under the gun into his lone opponent in the cutoff. He called.

The {J-Diamonds} hit the river and both players checked.

"Queens and jacks," announced Benyamine. His opponent turned over {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for aces up to take the pot and Benyamine tossed his cards into the muck.

Glantz Picked Off by Ausmus

Nível 8 : 300/600, 0 ante

With action picked up on the {6-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} turn, Matt Glantz led out 3,000 into 4,600 out of the small blind. Jeremy Ausmus called in the cutoff and they continued to the {8-Spades} river.

Glantz fired 10,000 and Ausmus paused for a while. Then he called and Glantz tapped the felt with his hole cards, waiving the white flag as he was bluffing. Ausmus announced nut straight, showing {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

With about 4,000 chips in the pot and the board reading {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{4-Clubs} Daniel Negreanu checked from the big blind and his lone opponent checked back from the cutoff.

The river brought the {7-Diamonds} and both players checked. Negreanu tabled {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for a set of jacks, his opponent tossed his cards into the muck, and Negreanu took the pot.
