Sheldon Makes the Call, Gets There on the River

Nível 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

The board was showing {3-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}, Samuel Sheldon threw out a bet, and his opponent shoved all in for around 15,000. Sheldon made the call and both players then turned over their hands.

Sheldon flipped over {q-Spades}{9-Spades} for top two with a flush draw and his opponent tabled {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for a flopped set of queens. The river fell in the favor of Sheldon as the {5-Spades} hit and he completed his flush draw, taking down the pot and eliminating his opponent.

On a raised pot, the players were head-up when the flop {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} fell. John Hesp checked before raising to 4,000 a bet of 1,500 from Mike Sexton. The latter called.

The turn came a {6-Hearts} and brought no betting action. The players checked again on the river {6-Clubs} and Hesp flipped over {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for ace high. It was enough to earn the pot, Sexton holding {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for king high.

Quads and a Double-Up for Pecheux

Nível 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

On a raised pot, the flop read {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{q-Clubs} when all the chips went in the middle. Erwann Pecheux, holding {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}, was in good shape for a double-up, facing {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} in his opponent's hand.

A {3-Diamonds} fell on the turn and the river {q-Hearts} improved Pecheux's set of queens into quads and gave him the pot.

Turker Forces a Fold on the River

Nível 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

The board already showed {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} on a heads-up pot when we got to the table. With a pot containing around 10,000, Sadan Turker thought about his move for a minute and announced all in for a stack of 11,950. His opponent tanked for a few minutes and ended up folding his hand at the end of the clock.

Therme Knocks Out Two Players

Nível 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

Jonathan Therme started the action with a raise of 1,000 and two players made the call.

Things heated on the flop {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. The small blind player checked and Therme continued for 1,250. The third player three-bet all in for a stack of 9,900 and the small blind player called all in as well. Therme snap-called with a bigger stack and the three players tabled their cards.

Jonathan Therme: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Small blind: {j-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Third player: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Therme was in good shape to win the pot, and the turn {5-Diamonds} improved his hand into quad fives. The river fell a {9-Spades} that didn't change anything and Therme busted two players in the same hand.
