Then, on the very next hand, Montgomery got it in with short stack Thomas Daubert.

They were two ragged looking boards, with Montgomery just holding the lead with a jack-low. He improved to a ten-eight after he picked up an {8-} and Daubert was drawing live, with any two, three, four, five or nine seeing him staying in the tournament.

Unfortunately, the {7-} paired him and he was eliminated.
