Table #409 Chip Counts

Nível 20 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Buck Downed by Lakhov

Nível 20 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Alexander Lakhov
Alexander Lakhov

Dana Buck started things off with a cutoff open to 4,500. Lakhov was the only player who showed any interest, raising it up to 17,000. With the action back on Buck, he four-bet to 104,000 and was snap-called by Lakhov.

Alexander Lakhov {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Dana Buck {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}

Buck was the one who's tournament life was on the line and he needed some help to stay in the game.

The {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} flop showed an ace in the window but it also made a set for Lakhov. On to the {j-Hearts} turn and there was a little hope as it gave Buck two pair and there were two aces that could save him.

Unfortunately, the {8-Clubs} river was not what he needed and Buck had to make his way to the exit in 5th place. That leaves four players remaining.

Morris Gets Some Folds

Nível 20 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Arthur Morris raised to 4,500 from the under-the-gun position and was called by Jesse Kertland in mid-position and Raghav Bansal in the big blind.

The flop came {J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, Bansal checked, Morris fired another 10,000 in the pot. Kertland considered it for a bit but folded, Bansal did the same.

Shea Eliminated By Worth

Nível 20 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

With only 25,600 left to play with, and the table short-stack by a significant margin, Jack Shea decided to get all his chips in just now.

James Worth opened for 5,000 on the cutoff and Shea shoved all-in from the big blind. Worth called and when the cards went over, the all-in player was the slight favorite.

Jack Shea {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
James Worth {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

The flop came an interesting {8-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{q-Clubs}, which gave Worth top pair but Shea a flush draw and one overcard to the board.

The {5-Diamonds} turn changed nothing and the river bricked with a {j-Diamonds}. Shea has hit the rail, whilst the remaining players are now five-handed.

Sabe over Kiriopoulos

Nível 20 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Joseph Sabe raised to 3,500 from early position and only Demosthenes Kiriopoulos called from the big blind.

They both checked through the {j-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} on the flop and the {5-Hearts} on the turn to the {7-Clubs} on the river. Kiriopoulos bet 4,500 and Sabe called without hesitating long. Kiriopoulos showed {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for queen-high. Sabe tabled {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for the pair of nines which was good enough to take the pot down.

Worth Barrels All Streets

Nível 20 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

James Worth opened to 4,000 in middle position and Thomas Taylor defended his big blind.

It was heads-up on the {5-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop and Taylor checked to Worth, who made it 6,500 to go further. Taylor called and on they went to the turn.

It was a {k-Hearts} and after another check from Taylor, Worth barreled for 13,000. Once again Taylor called.

Finally, there was an {a-Hearts} on the river and for a final time, Worth bet again. This time it was for a slightly larger 15,000. Taylor decided to pass and Worth has moved into second in chips.

Lakhov Takes Out Sears

Nível 19 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Alexander Lakhov
Alexander Lakhov

Nikolai Sears just got it all-in versus Alexander Lakhov. Unfortunately for him, he was unable to find any help on the {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs} board and lost to Lakhov's {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

The table is now playing six-handed.
