Ivan Zhechev raised to 9,000 from early position and was met by a three-bet by Jiandong Xu in the cutoff. The button and blinds quickly folded and Zhechev called.

The flop came , Zhechev check-called the 16,000 bet of Xu.

They both checked through the on the turn to the on the river. Zhechev now bet 32,000 which sent Xu into the tank. After a few minutes, Xu hesitantly called. Zhechev flipped over for two pair, aces and sixes, and the queen-kicker. Xu mucked his hand and complimented Zhechev on his hand.

The flop was already showing when we arrived at the table. According to the players, a first player opened, Johnathan Dahlberg three-bet and Alexander Kuzmin four-bet all-in for around 170,000. Only Dahlberg made the call.

Change to Tournament Structure

The tournament organization has just announced that the tournament structure will be changed due to the amount of time all the players played yesterday.

There are currently 20 minutes remaining of this level. The players will finish this level, go on their break as scheduled. When they return, they will play one more level and then go for their 60-minute dinner break (one level earlier than planned. When the remaining players return from their dinner break, they will play three more 100-minute levels with the normal breaks in between.

So instead of the scheduled seven levels for today, the players "only" need to play six levels today until they can bag and tag their chips for Day 4 of the MARATHON which starts at noon local time, Thursday, June 14.
