D'Angelo Doesn't Fire

Nível 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Ryan D'Angelo bet 3,000 on a {5-Spades}{k-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop after two opponents checked. Josh Arieh let his hand go on the button, and the big blind followed suit, but Ami Alibay made the call. On the {10-Diamonds} turn, Alibay checked.

"Can I see your chips?" D'Angelo asked.

Getting a visual, he checked it back. Action went the same on the {j-Spades} river.

Alibay showed {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{10-Spades} for top two. D'Angelo sighed an mucked.

Shak Gets Shippy

Nível 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Dan Shak bet 2,300 in position against the big blind on a flop of {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, and Shak's opponent led out for 6,000 on the {6-Diamonds} turn. Shak made the call, seeing a {3-Hearts} fall. Shak's opponent was undeterred, and he fired 7,000. Perhaps caution would have been more prudent though, because Shak shoved all in, and he took down the pot without a showdown.
