Dykshteyn Gets River Value

Nível 9 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Ryan Goindoo was tanking against a bet of 22,600 against Ruslan Dykshteyn on a board of {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. He agonized over the call, peeking at his opponent to get a read. He cut out the necessary chips, raised them up, then brought them back as if changing his mind. In the end, he did drop them in, losing to {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{10-Spades} for the nuts.

Cassidy Doubles

Nível 9 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

We found Joe Cassidy all in on a board of {5-Spades}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs}.

Cassidy: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Opponent: {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

Cassidy had two pair, while his opponent held a wrap. The turn was heartbreaker for Cassidy, the {7-Hearts}, leaving him drawing slim since his opponent held one of his outs. The {j-Hearts} river saved him by filling him up.

At another table, Don Nguyen busted another opponent to move to nearly 200,000 when he got top set in against top two.

Cousineau Calls Nguyen

Nível 9 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Scotty Nguyen bet 10,000 on a board of {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{q-Spades}, and Tony Cousineau called. On the {8-Clubs} river, both players checked.

"Queens and fours," Cousineau said, showing {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{4-Clubs}.

"Queens and fours good, baby," Nguyen said.

Kyriakides Nearing 250,000

Nível 9 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Entin Dodges Outs

Nível 9 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

The small blind bet 8,500 on a board of {3-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Spades}, and one player called. Jonas Entin potted from the cutoff to 45,500, and the small blind tanked for a couple of minutes before announcing all in. The third player folded, and Entin called off his last 13.900.

Entin: {5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Small blind: {a-Spades}{2-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Entin had turned a sneaky set, but the small blind had plenty of ways to win: a spade, ace, or fives. It was Entin who improved though, hitting quads on the {4-Diamonds} river.

Trickett Cripples Pantaleo

Nível 8 : 400/800, 0 ante

We didn't see when the money went in, but we found the dealer at Table 375 burning and turning a {9-Hearts} river to make the board {8-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts}. Sam Trickett was all in with {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades} against the {a-}{a-}{9-}{7-} of Giuseppe Pantaleo, and Trickett doubled up with two pair.
