Tabali Doubles, Azzi Doesn't

Nível 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

The tournament has lost one player and the redraw of the final three tables is only one elimination away. Asi Moshe knocked out a very short stacked Charbel Azzi, who moved all in for 80,000 with {4-}{5-}. Moshe had pocket tens on the button and the board blanked out.

Keanu Tabali was more fortunate. He raised and then called all in for 351,000 with {K-Clubs}{A-Spades} after Alexander Ziskin pushed all in out of the big blind with pocket nines. Tabali improved on the {6-Spades}{A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} flop and the {2-Spades} turn as well as {J-Spades} river changed nothing anymore.

Duong Shoves

Nível 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

We got to the table with approximately 325,000 in the middle of the table with a board of {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Jackduyph Duong all in for 2050,000 total. His lone opponent was Theodore Driscoll who had Duong well covered. "Will you show me if I fold," asked Driscoll. Duong sat there silent, not saying a word.

"Ahhhh f***," said Driscoll, who then apologized to the dealer for his f-bomb. She playfully put a finger in her ear as if to pretend she didn't hear it.

"OK, I fold," said Driscoll after a few more seconds of deliberation. "Good bet."

Lapossie Knocks Out Happas

Nível 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Matthew Lapossie opened the action with a min raise to 32,000 and Stephen Happas moved all in for another 100,000 on top. Lapossie called with {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Happas was way ahead with his {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} before a six showed up on the flop. On the turn, Happas picked up a gutshot straight draw but the river blanked.

Hawkins On a Wild Ride

Nível 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

First Maurice Hawkins lost a preflop all in with pocket kings against pocket aces for 359,000. Shortly after, Hawkins played the same opponent again and three-bet from 24,000 to 56,000 to see the {J-Hearts}{J-}{3-Hearts} flop. Both players checked and the {2-Hearts} showed up on the turn.

Hawkins bet 58,000, the opponent raised to 120,000 and Hawkins made it 190,000 to go. The opponent called and they both checked the {4-Clubs} river. Hawkins tabled {A-}{10-} as winning hand and got almost back where he was before.

37th-45th Place Eliminations ($12,908)

Nível 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Eisen Stacks Further

Nível 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Three players were eliminated almost at the same time and we are not sure who hit the rail against Brandon Eisen. It was Eisen who opened to 29,000 from early position, Matthew Lapossie three-bet to 70,000 and a short stack moved all in for 160,000. Eisen reshoved all in for 550,000 and Lapossie folded jacks.

Eisen had {K-Hearts}{K-Spades} against the {A-}{K-} of the opponent and the board ran out {J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{x-}{J-}.
