The last $1,500 no-limit hold'em event of the 2014 WSOP resumes today with 293 of the original field of 2,563 still in contention.
Chris Kolla holds the lead at the moment with 130,300 chips but the chasing pack is close behind. Yaron Zeev Malki lies second currently with 126,000 and Ty Reiman sits third with 125,400. There is a long way to go, however, with another ten one-hour levels of play scheduled today and a final day tomorrow.
The total prize pool for this event is $3,460,050 and the winner is set to receive $614,248. One of the early orders of business today will be the bursting of the money bubble. With 270 places being paid, that means 23 players will be out of the tournament empty-handed.

The river was the and after being checked to again, Reiman slid out a stack of orange 5K chips, giving his opponent a decision for his tournament life. Reiman's opponent folded after a moment and he was pushed the pot.
With about 9,000 in the middle, Tom Middleton and Ty Reiman went heads-up to a flop of . Reiman check-called a bet of 6,000 from Middleton to see the land on fourth street. This time, Reiman check-folded to a bet from Middleton and surrendered the pot.

Leading the way after Day 2 was Steve Sung with 1,132,000 in chips. Sung began the day in the middle of the pack with 66,700. The California native is no stranger to WSOP glory. Sung has two no-limit hold’em WSOP gold bracelets and 25 WSOP cashes totaling $2,689,443.
