Josh Arieh headlines the Day 3 field.

After 10 hours of play, twelve players advanced to Day 3 of Event #6: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout. The most well-known of the bunch is Josh Arieh, two-time bracelet winner and former third-place finisher in the Main Event, who has over $6 million in live cashes.

Arieh isn't the only poker millionaire to win his table today, though. Fellow bracelet winners Shawn Busse ($1 million in cashes) and Alex Bolotin ($2.2 million) also advanced, as did well-respected players like Dimitar Danchev ($3.2 million) and Jared Jaffee ($1.6 million). The final 12 will draw seats into two tables of six, combining when 10 players remain. Everyone brings 346,000 to 361,000 into Day 3, with variance due to imbalances in Day 1 tables.

A slew of notable players who failed to take down their tables today: Josh Pollock, Greg Merson, Dutch Boyd, Jordan Cristos, Steve Gross, Christian Harder, Isaac Baron, Mike Matusow, Eugene Katchalov, Jon Aguiar, Joseph Cheong, David "Bakes" Baker, Shannon Shorr, and Allen "Chainsaw" Kessler.

Players will resume the tournament at 1 p.m. tomorrow, so be sure to tune back in to PokerNews for the conclusion of Event #6.

David Trager Wins Table 445

Nível 8 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

David Malka limped into the pot, and David Trager checked his option. He also checked the {7-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop, and Malka bet 5,000. Trager came back with 14,000, prompting Malka to put in another 30,000 or so. Trager pushed all in, and Malka called.

Malka: {4-Spades}{3-Spades}
Trager: {k-Spades}{8-Hearts}

Malka had a pair an a flush draw, and he grabbed the lead on the {a-Spades} turn. The {5-Spades} river gave Trager the nut flush though, and the heads-up match was over.

Douglas Foster Wins Table 440

Nível 8 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Ismail Abousharkh opened for 10,500 and was called by Douglas Foster. The flop came {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and fireworks ensued when Abousharkh continuation bet for 17,000 and was raised by Foster to 42,000. Abousharkh insta-shoved and was called with no hesitation by Foster. The hands:

Abousharkh: {J-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Foster: {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

Abousharkh was ahead with his pair of 3's but Foster had plenty of outs and he said out loud what they were, "Queen, Nine, or a club."

The turn was the {K-Hearts} giving Foster a few more outs and he said those out loud as well, "Jack."

The river was one of those outs, the {2-Clubs} giving Foster a flush that was one notch better than Abousharkh's. "Yes," an excited Baker said. "I win!" Abousharkh slammed the table lightly, disappointed in the outcome.
