Nazar Loses Final Flip

Nível 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Hugo Nazar
Hugo Nazar

Hugo Nazar has apparently been all in a few times lately and the latest attempt to spin up his stack ended in a confrontation with Brian Altman. Nazar had pocket jacks and Altman the {A-}{Q-}. A queen on the river awarded him the pot and sent Nazar to the rail.

Chattha Hangs On

Nível 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Sunny Chattha shoved his 12,500 stack in from the button and the big blind game him a spin. He probably wished he hadn’t as Chattha held {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} agist the {q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}.

A run out of {9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts} saw Chatta hanging in there with a short, but doubled stack.

Schwartz Says Thank You

Nível 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

After a raise to 8,000, Justin Schwartz moved all in for 140,000 with {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and got called by the initial raiser with {Q-}{K-}. The opponent had slightly less chips and hit the rail after an event-less board.

Dunning Done

Nível 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Steve Dunning opened the pot and Mike Kachan three-bet. When Dunning four-bet shoved Kachan said afterwards that he was priced in to call as the shove wasn’t for that much more and turned over {q-Clubs}{j-Spades} with a shrug.

Dunning had projected a tight image all day so the table gasped when they saw hehad shoved with {9-Hearts}{7-Spades} for his tournament life.

The board ran out {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Kachan’s picture cards held against DUnning'sconnectors.

Shanks Shakes Hart

Nível 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Shaun Hart four-bet shoved into Eric Shanks and the latter called all in for effectively 120,000 with {A-}{Q-}. Hart had that dominated with {A-}{K-} but a queen showed up on the flop. Shanks lost another pot after that to drop some of the profit,

Milne Makes the Right Call

Nível 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

We saw Richard Milne jumping away from the table and cheering after he had just doubled up. He called a raise preflop with {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and flopped two pair on {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. The Scotsman bet and got put all in for his last 68,000.

After some consideration he made the call and faced {Q-}{K-Diamonds}. Both the {3-Hearts} turn and the {2-Spades} river blanked and Milne let the emotions burst out.
