Lovgren Busts One

Nível 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

Sofia Lovgren had raised and faced an all-in shove from her opponent of 9,600 more. She took a few moments before calling.

Her opponent tabled his {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and Lovegren showed her {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Lovegren won a big pot to put her in a great position at this stage of the tournament.

Fricke Fun

Nível 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

Jimmy Fricke certainly is having fun, he opened from first position and got called by the button and Dermot Blain. The flop was {4-Spades}{2-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and it was checked to the button who bet 1,200. Blian folded but Fricke flicked out a call.

The turn {5-Spades} and river {7-Diamonds} was checked down and Fricke turned over his {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts} fairly confidently. His opponent looked back at his cards and then conceded the pot.

Fricke Sits, Lubarsky Climbs

Nível 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

Jimmy Fricke has just arrived and been handed his starting stack. He took his option to post 300 put folded to a raise. He is sat to the left of Dermot Blain.

Meanwhile Hal Lubarsky has been making good use of the last two levels to build a stack of over 60,000.

Rousso and Arnett Undone With Aces

Nível 6 : 100/200, 25 ante
Kristy Arnett
Kristy Arnett

Kristy Arnett had {a-Spades}{a-} and it reportedly went all in on the flop of {3-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Spades}. Her opponent had flopped a straight with {6-}{7-} and even the re-draw to the flush was no good for Arnett as the board bricked out.

Vanessa Rousso had been short on chips for a while and her exit hand involved her {a-}{a-} getting cracked by a {5-}{6-} which filled up to a full house on the river.

Lubarsky Gathering Chips

Nível 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Hal Lubarsky was the first blind player to ever cash at a WSOP event and has gone on to cash three more times. He is here today playing in another event this series and is doing pretty well so far.

Nick Welthall fared less well, losing a lot of chips early on and getting the last of it in with {3-}{3-} versus {a-}{a-}. The run out of the board probably summed up his day: {3-}{4-}{6-}{4-}{a-}.

Ante Up

Nível 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

This is the level the antes kick in and with stacks getting shallower and more in the middle to fight for it could be a vital level for some players.
