Mosseri Draws Four, Busts Two

Nível 15
Abe Mosseri
Abe Mosseri

2-7 Triple Draw

John Monnette moved all in for 6,000 on the button, Abe Mosseri called, and Chris Klodnicki moved all in for 31,000 out of the big blind. Mosseri called.

When Mosseri called for four cards on the first draw, several players at the table laughed. When he only had to draw one on the second, the laughs became louder.

On the final draw, the players opened their cards.

Mosseri: {8-}{6-}{4-}{3-}
Klodnicki: {6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}
Monnette: {10-}{8-}{5-}{4-}{2-}

Mosseri rolled over a {2-}, giving him an eighty-six, and Klodnicki pealed a {j-}.

"Another four-card draw for Abe," Mosseri said, grinning and pulling in the pot.

Monnette and Klodnicki were both eliminated, and Mosseri is up over 1.7 million chips.

"You Running It Twice?"

Nível 15

Pot-Limit Omaha

On a flop of {j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, Gary Benson bet 35,000 only to have David Oppenheim raise the pot to 137,000. Benson thought long and hard before making the call and then led out with a big bet on the {3-Spades} turn. Oppenheim only had 102,000 back and called off.

Oppenheim: {j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Benson: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Benson got it in good, but then the dealer burned and put out the {J-Spades}. "Ohhhh, you're kidding me," Benson lamented. He then joked, "You running it twice?"

Oppenheim got a good chuckle out of it but didn't let it stop him from stacking the pot.

Glantz Will Make You Dance

Nível 15
Matt Glantz
Matt Glantz

Stud 8

Matt Glantz: {x-}{x-} / {a-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades} / {x-}
Jonathan Duhamel: {x-}{x-} / {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Spades} / {x-}

Abe Mosseri brought it in with the {5-Diamonds}, Glantz completed, and Duhamel made it two bets. The action folded back to Glantz, who called, and the Parx Poker Room Ambassador called another bet from Duhamel on fourth street.

The 2010 WSOP Main Event champ slowed down on fifth, check-calling a bet, and both players checked on sixth. Duhamel checked a third consecutive time on seventh, Glantz bet, and Duhamel tank-called.

Glantz revealed {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for aces up, and Duhamel mucked.

Anderson and Bloch Gone

Nível 15

After unknown action we've lost Andy Bloch on Scott Seiver's table. Bloch had been short for a while and the runner-up to Chip Reese in the first ever $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. did not manage to stage a comeback.

Calvin Anderson went through some big swings and during a hand of Stud 8 he was knocked out by Ola Amundsgard.

Jack-Ten Low is Good For Burr

Nível 15

Razz

Benson: {x-}{x-} / {5-}{K-}{8-}{J-} / {x-}
Burr: {x-}{x-} / {7-}{K-}{10-}{J-} / {x-}

We picked up with the action on fourth street to see Gary Benson and Melissa Burr each pull a king. Benson checked and Burr knuckled the table back, allowing fifth street to hit the felt. Benson received an eight on fifth and led out with a bet. Burr stayed the course and both picked up jacks on sixth. Benson bet out again and Burr called.

On seventh street, Benson peered at his final card and cut out one last bet. Burr thought for about 15 seconds before flinging forward a call.

"Good call," said Benson.

Burr rolled over {A-}{Q-}{4-} for jack-ten low. Benson mucked his cards and Burr raked a pot that brings her stack to right around 410,000.

Brunson Can Get Low

Nível 15

Razz

Brock Parker completed with a {7-} and then called when Todd Brunson raised with his {4-}. Parker took the lead on fourth and bet, which Brunson called. That action repeated itself on fifth and then both players checked sixth and seventh.

Brunson: {4-}{10-}{2-}{q-} / {5-}{a-}{5-}
Parker: {x-}{x-} / {7-}{4-}{a-}{k-} / {x-}muck

Brunson tabled his 10-5-4-2-A low and it was good as Parker gathered up his cards and sent them to the muck.
