O'Donnell Eliminated on Three-Way All In

Nível 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

Matt O'Donnell, who has made two final tables at this year's WSOP, pushed all in for 11,600 after a raise from the player under the gun and a call by Anthony Miller right behind. With the action back to the original raiser, he announced that he was also all in.

Miller would give it some serious thought, before eventually making the call and tabling {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}. He was ahead, but needed to dodge some serious outs as O'Donnell tabled {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} and their opponent had {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}. Not to mention, another player at the table mentioned that his folded hand was pocket nines as well.

Outs were dodged however when the board ran out {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{5-Spades} and Miller's nines stayed good.

Moorman Continues To Climb; Trio Fall

Nível 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

Chris Moorman is up to 53,000 chips right now and Scotland's Ludovic Geilich is around 10,000 off that total with 43,600.

It appears that the tournament has lost Phil Hellmuth, Steve Watts and Noah Schwartz during the last level, making the shark-infested waters of this event slightly less dangerous.

River Saves Frankenberger's Bacon

Nível 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

The flop read {10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Andy Frankenberger checked from his seat in the small blind. Bryan Picciloi, in the hijack bet 2,350 and Ryan Leplante called. Frankenberger then moved all-in for 8,900, Picciloi folded, but Leplante instantly called.

Frankenberger: {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Leplante: {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Frankenberger was way behind and needed some luck to stay in the tournament. The {2-Hearts} turn was followed by the {2-Spades} river, improving both Frankenberger and Leplante to the same full house and therefore the pot was split.

The Literal Best Hand Holds

Nível 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

"It doesn't get any better than this!" Tony Cousineau exclaimed, as he threw in the last of his chips from the small blind. "Literally," he finished his thought, drawing a few snickers from the table. Action folded to the original raiser, who reluctantly made the call for an additional 4,525.

Sure enough, Cousineau had the starting nuts, turning over {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} versus the {k-Spades}{q-Clubs} of his opponent. The board ran out {3-}{j-}{6-}{3-}{3-} and Cousineau had the best of it... literally.
