Pok Kim’s constant stream of chatter has kept the table amused so far, as it generally revolves around what she wants players to do when she has a hand and how she wants a double up. In a recent hand where Kim claimed to have aces and flat called an early position raise, she bet out on a board with high cards that the other player folded. She explained that usually when there is a raise and a call, someone will move all in and that’s what she was waiting for.

Not too long after that, the player in first position opened for 6,000 and it folded around to Kim in the big blind. She moved all in and the raiser sat with a bemused look on his face, having so nearly taken the blinds and antes unopposed. Eventually, he folded and she showed him .

Terry Exits, Jaka Rises

Todd Terry moved all in for 36,000 with and got called two seats over by an opponent with . Faraz Jaka went all in over the top for what looked like 50,000 and then revealed in the showdown. The best starting hand did hold up and Jaka nearly tripled up, knocking out Terry in the same hand.

Omar Brito three-bet an open raise from the player on the button to 18,500 and then eventually folded , the opponent returned the favor and revealed .

Severin Kock wasn't as amused when he bet the flop for 10,000 and then got raised to what looked like 40,000. The German didn't have as many chips behind and asked his opponent whether or not he would show. Kock folded and the opponent said, "Okay, I will show," before flipping over .

We only arrived on the river of a board when Omar Brito bet 15,000 out of the small blind. Initial pre-flop raiser Martin Finger made it 48,000 to go and Brito eventually called. As exciting as yesterday was for Gualter Salles who came in to the day with the chip lead, today has appeared to be the exact opposite. The Brazilian race car driver is used to thrills and spills being involved in many stock car races, but his tournament so far today has been a slow and steady crawl downhill.

With little room for maneuvering with his stack size, Salles moved all in for 40,000 and one by one, the other players checked their cards, hoping for something to challenge him with until they folded. The good news was he picked up the blinds and antes, but the bad news was that he went on to fold the big blind and the small blind before seeing the blinds go up again.

No Aces to Crack for Marshak

Stuart Marshak cracked pocket aces twice today to eliminate opponents, but Lady Luck wasn't as pleasant in the last hour. Down to 56,500, he moved all in against a cutoff raise from Simon Tse.
