Cada Crushed

Nível 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

The 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Joe Cada has bowed out of the tournament after losing a coinflip that lost him all of his chips.

Cada's {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} was racing against {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}, a race that didn't go Cada's way. The {5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} board kept the queens in front and Cada said his goodbyes before heading out into the warm Las Vegas night.

Jacobson and Hawkins Tangle

Nível 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Martin Jacobson raised to 1,400 from under the gun and Maurice Hawkins three-bet to 3,600 from late position. Jacobson called, the flop came {k-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades} and both players checked. The turn was the {6-Hearts} and Jacobson bet 4,800 and Hawkins called.

The river was the {4-Spades} and Jacobson again led, this time for 12,200. Hawkins thought for a while, talking to Jacobson the whole time, but eventually folded {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} face up.

No Chip Munk

Nível 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

The entertainment factor has dropped significantly on one of the tables as Justin "Stealthmunk" Schwartz has busted.

According to the table he cold four-bet shoved from the big blind with {9-}{9-} for what remained of his stack and got snapped off by {a-}{a-}.

Bonomo Doubles Before the Break

Nível 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

Justin Bonomo is up to 11,000 after seeing his stack dwindle towards the 5,000 mark

He found himself all in with {8-Clubs}{8-Spades} and up against {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} but the {8-Diamonds} was the first card onto the flop to save Bonomo's bacon.

McDonald Stacking High With One Hand

Nível 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

Mike "Timex" McDonald is up to 37,000 despite registering late for this tournament and the fact he has his right arm in a supportive sling. To help protect his cards from view, McDonald has built himself a valley from his chips, quite ingenious really.

Heimiller Back For More

Nível 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

Dan Heimiller won the Seniors Championship just three days ago banking a huge $627,462. He is putting $1,500 of that to good use today by entering this event.

On a flop of {8-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} Heimiller had called a bet of 1,500 from the big blind and now another player went all in for a few thousand more. Back to Heimiller who made the call and turned over {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. His opponent had {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. The turn was the {8-Spades} and the river the {8-Clubs}.
