"I paid Paul, did you pay?" asked Nick Schulman as he walked over to Paul Volpe's table.
"It's a good pay for lots of reasons." continued Schulman.
"As long as he's in the game, it's good for us," stated Volpe.
"Now you have to give us action!" directed Volpe to Huck Seed.
With Schulman and Volpe standing behind Seed, Schulman began walking back to his table, but not before adding, "We're just going to be off!"
"Off!" firmly added Schulman as he made a gesture with his hand slicing across his neck.
With Schulman now seated back at his table, he quickly jumped to his feet and turned to Chris Klodnicki on the table next to him and said, "What do you think, Klod?"
But before Klodnicki could barely get a word out, Schulman interrupted him by saying, "It's one of those things that if you want it, you're probably entitled to it!"
David "Bakes" Baker opened to 4,000 from early position and only Daniel Idema called as he defended his big blind.
Idema checked the flop with Baker firing off a continuation-bet of 2,000. Idema check-raised to 4,000 and Baker called. Idema then bet both the on the turn and on the river with Baker calling each time.
Idema tabled his for quads and scooped the pot to move to roughly 70,000 in chips.
Bruno Fitoussi limped in and Barry Greenstein moved all in for his last 2,000 from the next seat over. Jennifer Harman called and it folded around to Shirley Rosario who made it three bets. Fitoussi folded and Harman called. On fourth street, action checked around to Harman and she led out with a bet. Rosario called and the same happened on fifth and sixth.
After the two ladies peered at their final hole cards, Harman dropped forward one last bet. Rosario called, tabling for an eighty-six low. Harman showed for an eight high straight and won the high. Greenstein's cards were pulled into the muck and he was eliminated from play.
Cory Zeidman just bet on fourth street and Chino Rheem made the call. On fifth street Zeidman bet again and Rheem raised, but his opponent wasn't going anywhere. On sixth street Rheem check-called and Zeidman checked in the dark on seventh street.
Rheem bet again and Zeidman, without looking for his final card, made the call.
Rheem: (X-X) / / (X)
Zeidman: / / (X)
"You got kings?" Rheem asked Zeidman.
"No, Aces," Zeidman responded as he turned over .
"Oh, I guess I made kings up," Zeidman smiled, as some players laughed. Zeidman had improved his hand on seventh street and Rheem mucked his hands.
