Toole Doubles Through Buddiga

Nível 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Action folded to Jake Toole in the cutoff and he moved all in for 80,000. Pratyush Buddiga called him from the big blind and Toole discovered that he was in trouble.

Toole: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Buddiga: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Toole's best shot at winning was to catch an ace, and wouldn't you know it, the {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{a-Clubs} flop contained one; however, Buddiga held the only club. Toole had to sweat both the turn and river, but there was no reason to fret as it came the {5-Spades} and {6-Hearts} respectively.

Cohen Fails to Win the Flip

Nível 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

A short-stacked Jesse Cohen moved all in for his last 52,000 from the hijack and cleared the field to Gordon Vayo, who called from the big blind.

Cohen: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Vayo: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

It was a flip, but Cohen was the one that needed to improve. The {4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Hearts} contained paint, but not a picture card Cohen needed. The {2-Diamonds} turn was no help, and it was followed by the useless {7-Clubs} on the river. Cohen missed and became the 22nd-place finisher.

"Did you have me?" Cohen asked his opponent in regards to an earlier hand. Vayo indicated that he did and would tell him his exact holdings later.

Patel Ousted in 21st Place by Metalidi

Nível 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Talesh Patel moved all in for his last 27,000 from the hijack and was called by Artem Metalidi in the big blind.

Patel: {k-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Metalidi: {q-Spades}{6-Clubs}

Patel actually got it in good, but that didn't matter as Metalidi took the lead on the {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop. The {6-Spades} turn gave Metalidi two pair, which left Patel drawing dead. After the {A-Hearts} was put out on the river for good measure, Patel was escorted to the payout desk in 21st place to collect $15,567.

Busquet Busted in 20th Place

Nível 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Olivier Busquet
Olivier Busquet

Just before the level went up, Ryan Olisar raised to 12,000 from the button and was met by a three-bet to 30,000 from Olivier Busquet in the big blind. Olisar responded by moved all in and Busquet called off for right around 235,000.

Olisar: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Busuqet: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

It appeared as if Olisar had picked a bad spot to shove, but then lightning struck when the flop fell {5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{k-Spades} to give him the lead with a pair of kings. Busuqet had gotten unlucky, and he watched helplessly as the {J-Spades} blanked on the turn followed by the {2-Hearts} on the river.

Busquet exits in 20th place, which means the field is just one elimination away from the three-table redraw.

The Last Woman in the Field Falls in 19th Place

Nível 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Jackie Glazier
Jackie Glazier

Australian Jackie Glazier had been nursing a short stack for the last hour or so, but her number was finally called and it was 19, as in 19th place.

In what would be her final hand, Glazier moved all in for her last 40,000 and received a call. When action reached John Andress, he three-bet to 120,000 and isolated Glazier. Andress tabled {a-}{k-}, which was well out in front of Glazier's {a-}{6-}.

The board ran out clean, and the WSOP bracelet winner had to settle for 19th place and $15,567 in prize money. The field is now down to the final 18 players, and that means it is time for a complete redraw.

Alex Queen Eliminated in 18th Place ($19,547)

Nível 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

A short-stacked Alex Queen moved all in under the gun for 88,000 and Ryan Olisar called from the button. The blinds both folded and the cards were turned up.

Olisar: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Queen: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

It was a flip, and all Queen needed to do to double was hold. That proved easier said than done though as the {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} flop delivered Olisar a pair of aces. The {2-Clubs} turn meant Queen needed one of the two remaining nines on the river to stay alive, but it wasn't meant to be as the {K-Clubs} blanked.

Queen was eliminated in 18th place and will take home $19,547 for his performance.
