Woodward Pops The Bubble

Nível 15

Pot-Limit Omaha

We arrived at the table to find Matt Woodward all in on a flop of {5-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Once all of the chips were in the middle the tournament staff made the players hold up for a moment before rolling on with the action. After a bit, the cards were turned up.

Woodward: {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Opponent: {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}

The turn brought the {K-Hearts} and the river the {7-Diamonds}, sending Woodward packing as a victim of his opponent's heart flush. With his elimination, we are now officially in the money!

Bloch Loses Some to Vitch

Nível 15

Razz

Andy Bloch was calling down with a {6-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs} against Chris Vitch's {2-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. After he made the last call on seventh street, Vitch showed him a {3-}{4-}{5-} in hole for a six-low.

Reslock's River Bet Fails

Nível 15

Pot-Limit Omaha

The board read {A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} and Chris Reslock fired a bet of 12,000 chips into a pot that had roughly 20,000 in it. His opponent across the table announced a call. Reslock shrugged.

"Nothin," said Reslock.

His opponent showed {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and took down the top with his trip aces. Reslock is now down to about 64,000.

Johnson Builds a Castle

Nível 15

2-7 Triple Draw

Marco Johnson's opponent bet the last of his chips after all the draws were over, and Johnson snap-called, rolling over {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for the nuts. His castle of chips continues to grow.

Vitch Gets Only a Quarter

Nível 14

Omaha Eight or Better

One player checked to Chris Vitch, better known by his online handle "DeathDonkey," who fired out on a {7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} flop. A player in late position called, as did the first player. The action went the same on a {j-Clubs} turn and {6-Hearts} river.

Vitch: {a-}{a-}{2-}{7-}
Late Position: {a-}{2-}{8-}{3-}
Early Position: {a-}{4-}{k-}{7-}

The early-position player grabbed the high half with two pair, while Vitch and the other player split the low half.

New Kids on the Bloch

Nível 14

Stud Eight-or-Better

Andy Bloch: {x-}{x-} / {5-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} / {x-}
Joe Cassidy: {x-}{x-} / {6-Clubs}{K-Spades}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts} / {x-}

We arrived at the table to see the action on seventh street. With a sizable chunk of change already in the center of the table, Joe Cassidy was facing one last bet from Andy Bloch. Cassidy pondered for about twenty seconds before moving out calling chips.

Bloch rolled over {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Cassidy flung his hold cards at the muck. Bloch is now up to about 39,000 while Cassidy has fallen to 52,000.

Crain Can't Beat Flush

Nível 14

Stud

Eric Crain, showing a pair of queens, bet into a pair of opponents with three-flush boards on sixth street. The first player raised, and the second player folded after some thought. Crain called, and both players checked dark on seventh.

Crain: {x-}{x-}{x-}/{10-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Opponent: {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}/{2-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts}/{j-}

Crain's opponent's ace-high heart flush was good.
