Welcome back to our coverage of the 2013 World Series of Poker! We're live from the Amazon Room in the Rio for Day 3 of Event #8: $2,500 Eight-Game Mix. Yesterday saw 192 players return to the felt and they played down through the money bubble of the top forty and beyond. At the end of the night, 19 players bagged up with Marco Johnson leading the field.
The field was stacked heading into Day 2 and that lead to several big name players busting without making the money. The likes of David Williams, Vanessa Selbst, Phil Ivey, Greg Raymer, Scott Fischman, Todd Brunson, Ashkan Razavi, Daniel Idema, and Jeff Lisandro all saw the rail before the bubble popped.
After the money hit, players began falling at a more rapid rate. Some of the notable names to cash in this field include Mohsin Charania, John Cernuto, Andy Bloch, Blair Rodman, Joe Cassidy, Andrey Zaichenko, and Christopher Vitch.
While all of those players fell at the hands of their opponents, the field still remains stacked heading into the final day. Notable names returning for the final day include Chris Tryba (287,800), Dario Alioto (216,400), last year's runner-up Greg Mueller (258,200), Robert Mizrachi (157,000), Randy Ohel (120,600), Eric Crain (117,700), Josh Arieh (101,600), Chris Reslock (72,000), and Mike Wattel (66,600).

We picked up with the action on fifth street to see both players check. Arieh fired out a bet on sixth street and Alioto went into the tank.
"There's no shame in folding," said Arieh.
Another moment passed and Alioto announced a call. Arieh moved in for his last 14,500 after seventh street was dealt and Alioto called.
"Two pair," said Arieh.
Alioto rolled over for trip fours. Arieh shot out of his seat and smacked his cards down on the table. He was eliminated in 15th place and will collect $8,262.
Eric Crain was betting every street with an ace-six-jack, and Benjamin Pollak called off the remainder of his chips with a five-king-queen and two clubs.

"I've got outs," Crain said, scanning the face-up cards. "Well, so do you." Indeed, Crain could catch a heart to make a high to go with his low, while Pollak alread had a club flush and was a seven, ace, or four away from a low. The dealer tossed out seventh street.
"I got there," Crain said, revealing a . Pollak sighed in disbelief, showing a blank . Crain's ace-high flush and eight-six low scooped the pot, eliminating Pollak.
Marco Johnson opened with an early position raise to 10,000. Chris Tryba called from the cutoff and action trickled down to Steven Wolansky in the big blind. Wolansky cut out a three-bet to 32,000 which allowed Johnson to get out of the hand. Tryba quickly called and the two took a flop.
The dealer fanned on the felt and Wolansky checked. Tryba moved 40,000 into the middle and Wolansky took his time making a call. The hit the turn and Wolansky checked once more. Tryba tapped the table behind and the finished the board. Both players checked again and Wolansky tabled . Tryba mucked and Wolansky picked up the pot.
Wolansky has now extended his lead even further and is sitting on about 655,000.
Chris Reslock fired out on fourth street after he, Dario Alioto and Eric Crain each put in four bets initially. Reslock had a king-ace, Crain had a jack-queen, and Alioto had a deuce-four. Alioto raised and Crain called, as did Reslock.
Fifth street brought a five for Alioto, an eight for Crain, and a ten for Reslock. Crain took the lead, betting the final three streets, and both players called down until Alioto mucked after all the cards.
After a series of preflop raises, we found Chris Reslock all in and at risk before the flop against Michael Hurey.
