Lindh Leaps Into Lead

Nível 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Christopher Lindh
Christopher Lindh

Shortly after knocking out Ryan Wolfson a moment ago, Chris Lindh just won some more chips off of Alexander Kuzmin in a hand that did not make it to showdown.

The pair had reached a {4-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} flop at which point Kuzmin checked, Lindh bet 85,000, Kuzmin check-raised to 200,000, and Lindh called.

The turn then brought the {3-Hearts} and after Kuzmin checked, Lindh declared he was all in. Kuzmin thought for a while, his chin resting in a cushion as he leaned forward getting his right arm massaged.

Finally, he reached forward with his left hand and tossed his cards away.

Lindh has now seized the chip lead, and as he just reported to his Twitter followers, is now sitting with around 4 million.

Luca Moschitta Eliminated By Cary Marshall

Nível 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Cary Marshall opened to 50,000 in the hijack and Oliver Price three-bet to 127,000 in the cutoff. Luca Moschitta four-bet all in for 670,000 from the small blind and after about two minutes, Marshall called. A fold from Price revealed the hands.

Marshall: {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Moschitta: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, no help to Moschitta, ending his Main Event.

Schwartz Wins Raising War with Mason

Nível 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Noah Schwartz, in the small blind, checked to Ashley Mason on the button with the board reading {8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. Mason bet 45,000, and Schwartz came back with a raise to 108,000. Mason wanted to play bigger though, and he put in another raise, this time to 225,000. Schwartz didn't back down, thinking for about two minutes before dropping 388,000 into the middle. The fourth bet must have convinced Mason, because he laid down his hand.

Hello Chris Lindh

Nível 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Chris Lindh and Ryan Wolfson got all the money in preflop in a massive pot worth 1.6 million in chips. Lindh held the {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} against Wolfson's {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}. Wolfson was the player at risk.

The flop, turn and river ran out {Q-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs}, and Lindh scooped the pot to bust Wolfson. Lindh moved to 3.625 million in chips.

Mann Bluffed? Could be Over 4.3 Million

Nível 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Simon Lam opened to 45,000 from early position and Jason Mann called to see a {10-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop fall. Mann checked and Lam continued for 60,000 with Mann quickly calling as the {9-Spades} landed on the turn and Mann tapped the table once again.

Lam pushed out a bet of 140,000 and Mann quickly called once again as the {3-Diamonds} completed the board on the river and Mann checked for the third time.

Lam looked at Mann and then announced a bet of 320,000 to put Mann into the tank for nearly two minutes as he considered his options - one of which would send him over 4.3 million if he called and was right.

Mann eventually pushed his cards to the muck and Lam tabled his {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for fourth pair to rake in the pot to move to 1,269,000 as Mann slipped to 3,500,000 in chips.

Klein KO'd by Alexander

Nível 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Geffrey Klein opened to 50,000 from under the gun, James Alexander called in early position, and the rest of the players folded. The dealer fanned {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{6-Diamonds}, Klein led out for 110,000, and Alexander called. The turn was the {10-Clubs}, Klein moved all in for 469,000, and Alexander quickly called.

Klein: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Alexander: {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The {8-Diamonds} completed the board, and Klein was eliminated. Alexander now has over three million chips.

Nuter Gets the Nuts

Nível 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

The action folded around to James Rubenstein on the small blind, who moved all in for around 200,000 in chips. He was snap called by Timothy Nuter, before both players tabled their cards.

Rubenstein: {k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Nuter: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Rubenstein took the lead, when the flop came {8-Spades}{k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. However, the {j-Clubs} fell on the turn, giving Nuter the straight, leaving Rubenstein drawing dead. He slammed his hand on the table, before stepping back from the table, knocking over his chair. He quickly apologised, as the meaningless {k-Spades} completed the board.

The Man Who Has "Never Gotten Lucky" Gets Lucky

Nível 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Ronnie Bardah
Ronnie Bardah

From middle position, Ronnie Bardah raised all in for 196,000. In the small blind, Erkut Yilmaz called. Bardah showed the {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, but was behind the {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

Bardah stood from his chair as the cameras rolled and said, "I never get lucky in the World Series of Poker. In four years, I've never gotten lucky in this tournament. If I get lucky, I'll shut up."

The flop came down {K-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Yilmaz kept his lead. The turn was the {6-Diamonds} to vault Bardah in front with a set and you could see the excitement shoot through his body. The river was the {9-Spades} and Bardah had doubled up.

"I'll shut up now," he finished as he sat back down to stack up his chips.

"We don't want you to do that," said one of the ESPN producers.

Jonathan Jaffe Doubles to Almost Three Million

Nível 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Jonathan Jaffe
Jonathan Jaffe

Jonathan Jaffe raised to 45,000 from under the gun +1. Yi Fang, who had literally just sat down for his first hand at the Mothership, reraised to 70,000 from the hijack. It folded back to Jaffe, and he thought for a while before reraising to 240,000. Fang tossed in the call, and the flop came {q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. Jaffe led right out for 300,000, and Fang quickly moved all in. Jaffe called even quicker, and in a flash, the pot had ballooned to over 2.8 million.

Jaffe: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Fang: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Fang stood up and immediately started chanting for a queen. A ten would also have done it for him against Jaffe's overpair, and while he didn't hit either on the turn, he did pick up a few more outs with the {J-Diamonds}. Fang started chanting "Queen, ten, nine. Queen, ten, nine!" Jaffe couldn't help but laugh despite the tension of the moment, and said "I hope that if I bust that you win the tournament." The 2.8 million chip river card was the {5-Hearts}, and Jaffe scored a massive double up, while Fang tumbled down to just 504,000.
